Self Acceptance
It is painful to
experience rejection,whether in relationships or in our professional
life.
It does not matter if it
is an active rejection, a passive knowing or an assumption of being
rejected, it always aches the heart and leave us feeling unworthy,
sad and sometimes even angry.
Feeling of being rejected
often is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. Like all other
painful experiences, it has knocked at your door to wake you up to an
aspect of you that you may not be aware of.
The first step to
understand and be able to handle rejection is to remind ourselves
that there is a higher good in this too.
The next step is to
introspect and see what is this situation and this feeling trying to
teach you?
The third step is to
identify what in you or your belief system is causing it and make
conscious efforts to shift it.
It is important to be
aware of how you feel and what's the intensity of your feeling when
you face or assume rejection and do not deny your feelings, instead
acknowledge and embrace them and look for the root cause of the
issue.
Self acceptance is the
first step to all possibilities!
